Nov 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American actress Jennifer Jason Leigh has filed for divorce from her husband Noah Baumbach on November 15, 2010. The media outlets have been speculating about the divorce from much before. However, the representative of the actress confirmed the news to the media this week. Jennifer Jason Leigh has asked for the physical custody of her son Rohmer in the court documents, the media outlets reported.

The representative of Jennifer Jason Leigh did not comment anything about the reason for split. However, the beautiful actress cited the reason for their split as irreconcilable differences in the court documents. The court documents also show that Jennifer Jason Leigh is seeking spousal support along with visitation rights for Noah Baumbach. The “Short Cuts” actress married to director Noah Baumbach in 2005 and it is somewhat astonishing for the fans as they are left clueless about the reason for split. The couple first met in 2001 while they were working on a Broadway production play “Proof”.

However, after their fairy tale wedding Noah Baumbach said that he expects to be with Jennifer Jason Leigh for rest of his life. Even recently the couple co-wrote a Ben Stiller film where Jennifer Jason had a supporting role. Jennifer Jason Leigh became a household face after she played a commendable role in 1992 thriller “Single White Female”. Jennifer Jason Leigh and Noah Baumbach have always kept their relationships under wraps and now the media is speculating about the possible reason for their divorce. On the other hand, the couple denied to comment anything about their personal life. However, the couple said that they are still very close friends and would continue to be so.
