Jennifer Hudson to act in ‘The Three Stooges’

Los Angeles, June 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jennifer Hudson has been handed a role in the 20th Century Fox’s movie “The Three Stooges.” Reports say Hudson has been cast as one of the nuns in the movie.

Other stars who have been confirmed for the movie includes Larry David, Jane Lynch and Stephen Collins as well as Chris Diamontopoulos, Sean Hayes and Will Sasso who will hold the lead roles in the movie. The movie is currently in production with the Farrelly brothers co-producing and directing the project.

In the movie, there will be three nuns including Hudson’s character. Hudson’s last movie was playing the role of Nelson Mandela’s former wife Winnie in the biopic “Winnie.” The biopic is currently in the post-filming production. According to reports, Hudson’s character will be Sister Rosemary with Jane Lynch playing the role of Mother Superior and Larry David being cast as Mother Mongele.

Hudson has come a long way with winning an Oscar with the movie “Dreamgirls.” She is however famous for being a finalist in the third season of the highly successful talent hunt show “American Idol.”

“The Three Stooges” will be co-directed by Conundrum’s Bradley Thomas and Charles B. Wessler.
