Jennifer Hudson says family’s murders were “all a blur, surreal”
June 30th, 2010 - 2:03 pm ICT by ANINew York, June 30 (ANI): Singer/actress Jennifer Hudson has spoken out about the tragic murders of her mother, brother and nephew by her brother-in-law.
Hudson, 28, recently spoke to VH1’s ‘Behind the Music’ about the brutal murder of her family in October 2008 by her brother-in-law, William Balfour.
“It’s all a blur, it was surreal,” the New York Daily News quoted her as telling ‘Behind the Music’.
“It was like I was outside of myself,” she revealed.
She revealed that the tragedy sent her into seclusion for weeks.
“For almost two weeks straight . . . [I was] inside one room with just family and friends coming in and out,” she said.
“I prayed when I’d get up in the morning and prayed before I lay down at night,” she added. (ANI)
