Jennifer Hudson comes back to her Idol roots

Jennifer Hudson She wowed the world with her melodious rendition of the “Dreamgirls” tracks. Her immense talent came to the forefront when she received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in this film, on February 25, 2007. Along with the Academy Award she also received a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Grammy Award and more than twenty other prizes. The list seems to be unending for destiny’s child, Jennifer Hudson.

Her background seems to be equally amazing as she emerged into the glamour world from American Idol. She was one of the finalists on the Third Season of the FOX reality television series American Idol. From here there was no stopping as the destiny’s child established herself as a solo recording artist and film actress.

But along with fame came many unwanted facets of life. On October 24, 2008, Jennifer Hudson’s 57-year-old mother, Darnell Donerson, and her 29-year-old brother, Jason, were found shot dead at their Chicago residence. At a young age of 28 years she has seen the darkest side of celebrity life. But with amazing grit the she has recovered herself from the grief and plans to soar to newer heights.

Well, this time Jennifer Hudson has made a comeback to her American Idol roots, no not as a contestant but rather as a celebrity judge. Most of her fans feel that she has come a long way from her original tryst with “American Idol”. “American Idol” has truly provided one of the best platforms for young and talented singers to make their mark in the world of glamour.
