Jennifer Hudson becomes the latest spokeswoman for Weight Watchers
April 2nd, 2010 - 2:53 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, Apr 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Jennifer Hudson became the latest spokeswoman for ‘Weight Watchers.’ She had gained weight after the birth of her child David Jr. seven months ago. In order to lose weight, after her delivery, she adopted a healthier lifestyle and also joined Weight Watchers. She joins the likes of other celebrities like the Duchess of York – Sarah Ferguson, who have also taken the help of Weight Watchers in order to lose a few extra pounds.
“No one recognizes me any more,” she declared on the TV show ‘Good Morning America.’ “After I had the baby, I made up my mind that I wanted to go in a different direction and find a better lifestyle. I decided to do Weight Watchers. I feel like I’ve conquered the world. I have just reached a new milestone. I was very comfortable with myself before, I have never had a problem with it. It’s just OK, I have a child now and I want to set a great example for him,” she said.
The 28 years old actress and singer Jennifer Hudson had won the Academy Award for her debut movie ‘Dreamgirls’ in 2006. Since then she has acted in other movies too. Besides being an actress, she is a former ‘American Idol’ contestant too. She has also won a Grammy Award for her album in 2008.
