Nov 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Dancing with the Stars” finalists, Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin competed for the last time for their mirror ball trophy. The ball-room dancing stage saw some mind-blowing performances by the celebrities who left no stones unturned to woo the judges and the audiences as well. Like last week, the top scorer of the night was Jennifer Grey who swept the judges off their feet and managed to get a perfect score of 60 for her flawless performance.
Jennifer Grey performed “Do You Love Me” from her movie “Dirty Dancing” and the judges gave her a 30 for her spectacular performance. After receiving accolades from the judges, Jennifer Grey said that “Time of Your Life” from the same movie has always been the song for the actress and her co-star Patrick Swayze. However, she said that she wanted to so something fresh and try new steps with her partner Derek Hough. After her second performance judge Len Goodman gave her a standing ovation and Carrie Ann Inaba gave her a kiss. Judge Bruno Tonioli awarded her with a perfect 10 and said that he wishes he could give her 11 points. For Carrie Ann Inaba, Jennifer Grey’s second performance was the meaning of redemption.
Disney kid Kyle Massey performed free-style hip-hop and said he scored 56 out of 60. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba called him a “Fresh Prince” of “Dancing with the Stars” after his performance. Bruno Tonioli called his performance as “slick, sharp, slinky”. Kyle Massey was happy and said that the praises by the judges were “amazing”. Bristol Palin received 52 out of 60 but Len Goodman told her that he found “great improvement” in her. However, Bruno Tonioli said that the performance was not quite up to the level.
