Oct. 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jennifer Gilbert, the weekday newsreader for Fox45, has been invited to join the new season of ‘Real Housewives of New York City’, a show that airs on Bravo TV. The other new arrival in the show is Sonja Morgan, a former model.

Besides being an entrepreneur, Jennifer Gilbert is also an event-planner. She owns the event-management company named ‘Save the Date’. She is also the joint partner of ‘Portamee’, a baby-carrier company. Her marriage featured in the Times wedding announcement, a rather lengthy piece that gave vivid descriptions of their complicated courtship. She got the award of Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young. Sonja Morgan is an erstwhile model and socialite. Along with that, she also invests in producing films. She is mostly known for her close relations and acquaintances with royalty. She may also be remembered for being fired from her job in San Pietro, where she worked as a hostess for being featured in an issue of the Quest.

Although a career woman, and very busy with all that she does, Gilbert evidently doesn’t mind taking a bit more on her plate. Morgan too seems to be able to take out time from all her leisure work, like gardening and traveling. It is rumored that Morgan will be coming into the house in the place of Bethenny Frankel, who is also her friend. For the time being, they will not be exactly new additions but would be ‘recurring elements’ on the show, appearing every now and then.

The new season airs from January 2010.
