Washington, Sep 23 (ANI): Jennifer Garner, who gave birth to her second daughter with husband Ben Affleck, is an old-fashioned mom, says a friend of the actress.

Lynda Obst, producer of her latest comedy ‘The Invention of Lying’, says that the 37-year-old star finds different ways to encourage her kids to think creatively

“Most of the time that I did spend with her when it was off-set, Violet was cooking with her, or reading Jane Austen, or doing one of these remarkable things that Violet tends to do,” People quoted Obst as saying.

“She encourages her kids to be independent. At the same time, kind of not television watchers. Readers. Thinkers. She is kind of old-fashioned. She is a very classic mom,” added Obst

However, Garner, who attended the Hollywood premiere of the movie without husband Ben Affleck, said that she had to constantly struggle to juggle her career and motherhood.

“Every day, you feel like you are off-balance one way or another. You just take it one day at a time. Oh gosh, let me know when you figure that out. I don’t think anyone has it,” she said.

She gave birth in January to her second daughter, Seraphina, who joined first daughter Violet, 3. (ANI)
