Garner recently kicked off Frigidaire Kids’ cooking academy summer session in New York where she picked vegetables with a group of children. The drive aims to give busy parents and their children first-hand experience of preparing freshly-picked ingredients.
“I’m a huge fan and avid supporter of my local Farmers Market. Showing kids how foods go from farm to table is an important first step in creating healthy eating habits. The Frigidaire Summer School is a great way to educate kids and their parents about the importance of eating fresh,” dailystar.co.uk quoted the 39-year-old as saying.
