The Oscar winning actress Jennifer Connelly is featured on the cover of the UK based InStyle magazine for the month of October. She is known around in the industry for her impeccable style and elegance and these qualities of her were pronounced as she posed for the cover shoot.

The glamorous Connelly carries off her silver and purple hued Balenciaga attire with elan and ends up looking almost ethereal. In the interview given to InStyle, she states however, that her most sought after fashion code is the day to day casual wear. A look (the casual one) that she chose to sport when she turned up for her photo shoot at the InStyle studio.

She sates that, “A much loved pair of old biker boots, figure hugging jeans and an acid yellow T-shirt from American Apparel. I tend to recycle. I have Doc Martens I’ve had since I was 15 that I still wear. I have to retire them soon because they are falling apart.”

Connelly is also featured as the face of the sophisticated Balenciaga and she is looking absolutely ravishing in the photo-shoots. She had previously been associated with the label when she had made an appearance on behalf of the Label in an ad for their Spring/Summer 2008 collection.

Though there seem to have been negative comments going round about the photo-shoots showcasing a very stiff looking Connelly, it can nevertheless be said that they appear quite interesting and unique. Set amidst a backdrop of subdued background, the vivid colored Balenciaga outfits stands out starkly. Of course, the high score is also Connelly, who fits in amazingly, against the backdrop.
