September 9, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Jennifer Aniston and her co-star of ‘Friends’ Courteney Cox are together again. They will be seen in the upcoming Cougar Town’s second season. ABC has revealed its plans for the show to be premiered on 22nd September at 9:30 P.M.

Aniston gets to play the role of Cox’s therapist who is a do-gooder. Reporters are presuming her character to be that of a shrink who has a heart of gold. The channel has also released some of its pictures providing the first look of the show.

While Aniston is doing a guest role for now, the producer Bill Lawrence hints that the viewers can expect to see more of the star in the show. For now, Jennifer Aniston is expected to appear on the premiere episode which has been titled ‘All Mixed Up’.

Aniston and Cox have been best friends in real life too. They are ever willing to lend each other a helping hand and their onscreen chemistry was quite evident in ‘Friends’. The togetherness of the friends Monica and Rachel in the popular NBC show had been one of the focal points of the show.

The photographs that were released by the channel include a picture of the two looking pretty together. Aniston is sporting streaked hair which falls in waves and is worn in a casual manner. Her friend and co-star Courteney Cox is looking attractive too. The second photo shows Aniston sitting quietly on a park bench besides a small white dog. There has been no indication of whether her character will be having a romantic angle. She has, however, been seen going out with Josh Hopkins, one of the cast members in real life.
