November 9, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may be basking in glory and fame but Jennifer Aniston, of late, hasn’t tasted much success. She is still, of course, quite popular and one of the most desirable women alive but her last few films hasn’t seen the success she had hoped for.
While ‘The Bounty Hunter’ went mediocre, the major blow was the bombing of ‘The Switch’ which got a very lukewarm response from the audience. Jennifer started off big with TV and was accepted instantly as the vivacious Rachel Green of ‘Friends’ sitcom but her shift to films hasn’t been a smooth journey.
Her next offering is ‘Just Go with It’ that stars Ben Stiller in the lead role opposite her. The film revolves around a man who shrewdly uses wedding rings to approach women. Jennifer plays his friend who feigns to be his wife thus helping him win over a girlfriend.
The movie also stars a plethora of actors like Nicole Kidman, Heidi Montag and Dave Matthews. Hence, Jen is bound to lose some of the limelight to them. But with her share of the spotlight, she would need to grab eyeballs and make an impact.
She direly needs a hit under her belt and it is to be seen if she can bounce back with this film! Will she make the switch or will she suffer another setback? Any predictions?
