Sony Entertainment Television brings a new show “Jeet Jayenge Hum’ that spreads the message of hope and happiness to the young children of tomorrow. “Jeet Jayenge Hum’ is a heart-warming story of a young girl, Suman, who does not give up on life despite all the hardships she has to face to protect her three younger siblings and herself from the ruthless world of bonded labor. Her simple dream of giving good life to her siblings, take wings, when she decides to fly away from the ruthless traders to a world of her own.
Set in a small town, Lalangad also known as Suhag Nagari famous for its colorful glass bangles, “Jeet Jayenge Hum’ takes the viewers through the dark, grim and gruesome reality of hapless little children working as child laborers. It is a poignant story of lost childhood, of their traumatic existence, poverty, starvation and sickness. In this town lives 17-year-old Suman with her three younger siblings and parents. Suman, who is determined not to become a bonded labor in the glass factory, dares to escape from the cruel clutches of the merciless landlords and traders who exploit young children in the glass factory.
Escaping from the clutches of the local goons was a nightmare, but Suman is determined to make the best of life for her siblings. Suman dreams of a world that will protect her and her siblings from poverty, hardships and scheming people. Will Suman’s dream come true? Or will life take a bigger turn for them in the big city? Or is it yet another battle against the selfish society?
A poignant story of a young girl’s determination to give wings to her dreams, “Jeet Jayenge Hum’, is co-produced by Sanjay Kohli and Aniruddha Pathak’s Family Films. The lead actors are Radio Mirchi’s popular jockey Sana, playing the protagonist along with Nawaz, Nupur and child actors Ayesha, Namit and Stuti.
