Jayasurya As RJ

July 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Jayasurya has essayed the role of a RJ in Payyans, a movie by Leo Thadaevoo.
The actor said that no additional or special preparation was needed for this role as he did anchoring for a local channel. He did this before he joined the film industry. He has prior experience in the field and so he is confident that he would be able to essay this role with panache.
Anjali is the heroine of the movie and she is also a RJ in the movie! An abundance of radio jockeys as we can see! The story of the film involves a mother and a son. Rohini is the mother in the film and Lal essays the role of Jayasurya’s father.
The auspicious pre-release pooja was done last week in Kochi, where Oscar winner Resul Pookuty had lit the lamp.
The event was attended by Jayasurya, director Joshi, producer Naushad Kammu, and cinematographer S.G. Raman.
