Jayasuriya Signs Evening Batch
September 15th, 2010 - 10:29 pm ICT by Sampurn WireSeptember 15, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Malayalam film actor Jayasuriya has been signed to play the central character “David’ in debutant director Boban Samuel’s upcoming movie, Evening Batch. Samuel has earlier directed successful television serials like “Alphonsamma’.
Boban is following the path of other teleserial directors like Radhakrishnan Mangalathu and Saji Surendran, who have been successful in making some good films.
The lead role of Boban’s film will be played by actor Jayasuriya, who became popular among the audience by hosting musical programs in Malayalam Television. The female lead of the movie is yet to be decided.
The story of Evening Batch is about a young man, who tries to solve all the problems of his lover called Katherine, his family and also of his friends.
Actors like Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salimkumar, Bijukuttan, Reshmy Boban and Kalpana are essaying supporting roles in the movie.
Shiju John has written the script of Evening Batch, which will be produced by veteran actress Reena. The dialogues of the movie have been penned by Krishna Poojappura. Anil Nair is the cameraman of the movie, which is likely to start shooting very soon.
