Jay Z working on a solo album

The singer said he has already completed two tracks on the album. Jay Z’s latest project is a collaboration with Kanye West and the pair are currently promoting the album which is titled “Watch the Throne.”
The solo will be the 12th for Jay Z. During an interview with the press on Thursday at the Mercer Hotel, the singer said he already know how the next album is going to be like. The rapper’s previous album was released in 2009 and the album went platinum.
Jay Z told reporters that, “I know exactly the tone and the whole feel of the album. I think when you experience creativity, you should get it out as much as possible.”
“Watch the Throne” is currently not at the stores. Officially the album is expected to be released on the 2nd of August. The album could be pre-ordered in advance. Two lucky fans who preordered their copies were selected to be with Jay Z and a group of journalists on Thursday for a private listening session. Eleven songs on the album were played during the session.
Kanye West was not at the session.
