Jay-Z tops Forbes’ ‘Richest Rappers’ list

Washignton, Aug 18 (ANI): US rapper Jay-Z has topped Forbes’ list of the Richest Rappers in 2010.
According to Forbes.com, Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter pocketed 63 million dollars in personal income between June 2009 and June 2010, more than double that of runner-up Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who earned 30 million dollars.
He was followed by Senegalese-American rapper Aliuane ‘Akon’ Thiam with 21 million dollars.
New Orleans-born rapper Dwayne ‘Lil Wayne’ Carter landed the fourth spot with 20 million dollars, ahead of California rap icon Andre ‘Dr. Dre’ Young, who took in 17 million dollars.

3.Aliuane “Akon” Thiam, 21 million dollars
4.Dwayne “Lil Wayne” Carter, 20 million dollars

7.Calvin “Snoop Dogg” Broadus, 15 million dollars
8.Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley, 14 million dollars
9.Pharrell Williams, 13 million dollars
