Jay-Z, Eminem, Kanye West, Beyonce rock the concert at Yankees Stadium

Sep 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rap superstar Jay-Z wowed the audience at a charity bash in New York’s Madison Square Gardens last year titled ‘The House That Hovie Built’. He gave another performance at the Yankees Stadium on Monday night and this time Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, Nicki Minaj and Beyonce all made an appearance.

Jay-Z and Eminem performed in Detroit a fortnight ago, and decided to bring the goodies to the Empire State this time. There is another show scheduled for Tuesday after the one on Monday. J.Cole was the first to perform after which Eminem seized the mic in the company of G-Unit pals.

Eminem first said RIP to George Steinbrenner before starting his performance and Jay-Z also paid tribute to the late Yankees boss. He said that, “Before I start this piece, let me say, rest in peace to the boss, George [Steinbrenner].”

Jay-Z also performed Run This Town with Kanye West who appeared wearing a red Louis Vitton suit and a huge chain around his neck. The pair also performed Power together and the 50,00 audience seemed impressed with the performance.

West’s last performance was Cant Tell Me Nothing. Jay-Z said at the end of the show that he was blessed to be able to perform at the night.
