Nov 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The fans of American rapper Jay Electronica are happy with the news that the “Queens Get the Money” singer has joined Roc Nation label. Jay-Z, the owner of the label announced the news to the media. The hip-hop mogul announced the news in an event at downtown New York burlesque venue The Box Friday night. However, the media outlets have reported that Jay Electronica’s signing to the Roc Nation has effected his relationship with Sean Combs (Diddy), who took to Twitter to express his disappointment.

Jay-Z, while announcing Jay Electronica’s name said that his whole goal is to introduce magic in hip-hop and the latter’s composition and songs have that factor in it. The hip-hop kingpin said that the whole Roc Nation supports him and he is an official “Roc Nation signee”. Jay Electronica wooed his audience when he sang the song “Exhibit A” and then “Exhibit C” and the crowd cheered for him. He addressed the crowd and introduced himself to everyone. He jokingly said that as his mother is present on the show, nobody would be able to hurl abuse at him. However, he also added that it was a real moment for him.

Jay-Z told Jay Electronica that he is the main attraction of the night and the latter has the full permission to speak freely. After Willow Smith and Rihanna, Jay Electronica is the latest member to join the diverse Roc Nation family. On the other hand, Sean Combs wrote on the homepage of his social networking site after the announcement that it hurts when a close friend betrays. He also stated that it hurts even to “breathe” when he remembers his friend’s betrayal.
