Javier Bardem to act in 23rd James Bond film

Los Angeles, Jan 31 (IANS) Actor Javier Bardem has reportedly been approached to be a part of the 23rd James Bond film.However, the details of his character are kept under wraps but since Daniel Craig is set to reprise his role as James Bond, there is a speculation that he might portray the villain, aceshowbiz.com reports.
According to reports, the offer was made to Bardem last week, at around the same time when he received his Oscar nomination for best actor in “Biutiful”.
The next Bond film will be directed by Sam Mendes. Besides Craig, Judi Dench is also confirmed to return to the film. Rachel Weisz was recently rumoured to take the female lead role opposite Craig.
