Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz will make ‘great’ parents: Woody Allen
September 16th, 2010 - 6:36 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sep 16 (ANI): Director Woody Allen thinks that Spanish superstars Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz will make ‘great’ parents.
The Oscar-winners worked with Allen on 2008’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
Allen is happy the newlyweds are starting a family together and has congratulated the couple following the news of the actress’ pregnancy.
“I think it’s great. I’m crazy about both of them - Javier and Penelope. And I’m sure they’ll have a super baby, because their genes are award-winning,” the Daily Express quoted Allen as saying.
“I think he’ll be great as a father, and I think she’ll be a great mother. She’s a lovely person,” Allen added.
Bardem and Cruz tied the knot in a low-profile ceremony in the Bahamas in July (10).
