javJan 31, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Academy-award winning actor Javier Bardem is set to add a new feather to his acting career. If recent reports are to be believed then the noted actor is all set to edge a pivotal character in the next James Bond flick. As per the reports, Javier Bardem has been approached by the makers of the action-thriller series to play a negative role opposite Daniel Craig in the forthcoming edition of the immensely popular series. The latest installment in the James Bond series which would be its 23th flick, is going to be directed by Sam Mendes and is scheduled to hits theaters across the world in the month of November next year.

Despite the fact that the intrinsic details of the character in the 23th installment of the James Bond series that would, reportedly, be edged by Javier Bardem is still being kept under the wraps, the ‘No Country for Old Men’ star is likely to play the main villain in the upcoming project. Sources say that the 41-year-old star was approached to play the role in the Sam Mendes directed movie sometime last week. Things are surely are on high lately for the multiple-award winning actor as apart from landing a pivotal role in the next James Bond project, Javier Bardem also received an Oscar award nomination in the category of Best Actor for his work in ‘Biutiful.’
