Jason Ritter: ‘The Event’ has changed

The show’s midseason promises to take it to the next level if the two episodes that were aired on Monday is anything to go by.
The series which debuted last year September promises to be a huge hit. The main star of the series is Jason Ritter who plays the role of a man who accidentally uncovers a conspiracy by the US government to conceal the existence of aliens from the population.
Two episodes of the program were aired by NBC on Monday. The show would be returning to its normal single episode at its original time of 9pm. The show on Monday was shown on 8pm.
NBC released a statement ahead of the return of the show on Monday. The statement said that, “On Monday’s mid-season return of the show, President Martinez (Blair Underwood) and his longtime Chief of Staff (Roger Bart) charge the intelligence community with decrypting Thomas’ (Clifton Collins, Jr.) satellite message and also determine to whom it was sent.”
The fast-paced suspense-filled series will give viewers more twists and turns in the upcoming episodes.
