Jan 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The 67th Golden Globe Awards ceremony is over and it has honored some of the incredible works of different personalities of the entertainment industry. Golden Globe Awards not only recognizes the actors, who have enacted different characters to make a film or drama successful but also it honors the technicians, who have worked in the background to make the project a great hit. While considering about men behind screen, one needs to mention about the screenplay writer, who adds life to the characters. The screenplay of a film plays a crucial role in its success and this year, the Golden Globe Awards for the Best Screenplay in a Motion Picture has been received by Jason Reitman.

Though James Cameron has claimed the Best Director award in the 67th Golden Globe Awards for his incredible movie, “Avatar”, the award for the best screenplay has been received by Jason Reitman for the film ‘Up In The Air’. As per the reports the race for the best director and best screenplay awards were quite close this year. Therefore, it was quite difficult to anticipate the recipient of these awards. It has been reported that a great excitement had developed regarding, who would claim the Best Screenplay and Best Director award.

Jason Reitman was thrilled to receive this award. While accepting the award, he said that he never imagined that the Golden Globe awards for Best Screenplay will come to him. He added that he had anticipated, Quentin Tarantino would claim the award, this year. The award has come to him as a surprise and he was quite happy with it.
