London, Feb 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jason Gardiner believes that ITV will be justified if he is thrown out of the panel of judges on the show, “Dancing on Ice”.

Gardiner had a nasty confrontation with head coach Karen Barber during last Sunday’s show. The incident got about 3,000 viewers of ITV petitioning the network to fire Gardiner.

During last Sunday night’s show, Barber didn’t like the criticism of Gardiner on a contestant. Barber’s interruption got a very harsh reaction from Gardiner who told her that if her opinion was appreciated that much on the show, she wouldn’t have been thrown off the panel of judges.

Those present said Barber left the studios in tears after those remarks.

Gardiner has since apologized for his reaction. He has also refuted allegations that he was forced to apologize. He says it was on his own volition that he apologized after he watched the clip again.

However he believes that ITV will be right to fire him. He told the Sun that, “I don’t know what they will do. I can’t do anything about it. If I’m honest, I’m always surprised I get invited back every year.”

ITV has condemned the action of Gardiner.
