May 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Janet Jackson just celebrated her 44th birthday on Sunday. The sister of the late Michael Jackson who has made her own name among musicians has a brand new (very short) haircut and reportedly a new boyfriend as well.

After the sudden and controversial death of her brother, Michael, Janet has remained mostly out of the limelight for the past eleven months in an attempt to heal from the loss. But the singer stepped out of London’s Cecconi restaurant Wednesday revealing a super short-almost shaved hair cut, although she has always been known to wear her hair flowing past her shoulders. As she left her London lunch, she wore blue jeans, black platform boots, and a black leather jacket.

Along with the new do, Janet also has a new man on her arm. Although it has not been confirmed as of yet to be a relationship, Janet has been seem often as of late, wining and dining with the 35 year old wealthy Qatari industrialist Wissam Al Mana. They have been seen at the Italian restaurant in Mayfair, for lunch and followed it up with a visit to Nabu Berkely that night. After a seven year relationship, Janet broke up with Jermaine Dupri last summer. She was in London to promote here new movie, “Why Did I Get Married Too?”.
