Janet Jackson inspired ”wardrobe malfunction” enters dictionary
August 15th, 2008 - 2:00 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Aug 15 (ANI): The phrase wardrobe malfunction, inspired by Janet Jacksons infamous wardrobe malfunction at 2004s SuperBowl, has been added to the English dictionary.
Jackson, who was performing during the SuperBowl’’s half-time show, was left red-faced after her stage partner Justin Timberlake ripped open her bodice, revealing a breast.
More than 90 million people saw the live broadcast - and the term ”wardrobe malfunction” was coined.
It has now been entered into the latest Chambers English Dictionary. (ANI)
