London, April 5 (ANI): Michael Jackson’s sister Janet Jackson has lashed out at her brother’s doctor Conrad Murray, blaming him for the death of the King of Pop.
Murray has been accused of administering Michael a powerful anaesthetic named Propofol, which lead to his death in June 2009. The doctor has pleaded not guilty for involuntary manslaughter.
During the Oprah Winfrey Show, Janet said that she holds the doctor responsible for her brother’s death, reports the Daily Star.
On being asked by Oprah if she believed the doctor is to be blamed, Janet said, “Yes, I do. He’s the one that was administering the drug, from what I do know.”
Janet also said that the Jackson family made several efforts to move the late singer into a rehab or quit his drug addictions but to no avail. (ANI)
