Jane Lynch Wins Golden Globe Award 2011 For Best Supporting Actress

janeJan 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Notable actress Jane Lynch, who received appreciation for her commendable acting in the hit musical series “Glee” was awarded Best supporting performance in a series, mini-series, or TV film trophy in 68th Golden Globe Awards 2011. This year, “Glee” received a total of three awards and the whole cast of the show were excited and happy at the recognition they received for their efforts. Jane Lynch previously received Emmy Award for her outstanding performance in “Glee”.

Jane Lynch shined in her role as Sue Sylvester, a sadistic coach and she has received rave reviews for the wonderful portrayal of her character in the musical series. The actress was overwhelmed when she received the award of Best Supporting Actress. The renowned actress managed to beat notable actresses like Hope Davis, Julia Stiles, Sofia Vergara and Kelly Macdonald and nabbed the prestigious award last night. A reputed media outlet reported that when she went to the backstage after receiving the award, her co-star Matthew Morrison welcomed her with a smile and said that the award was “great”.

“Captain America: The First Avenger” actor Chris Evans also appreciated her and told her that she is fantastic in her role as Sue Sylvester and she deserved the award. The onlookers noticed that even Jake Gyllenhaal congratulated for the award and said that she rocks in her performance as a coach in “Glee”. Jane Lynch thanked all her fans and the jury for the prestigious award. Jane Lynch looked elegant in her black evening gown, which was beautified with feathers. Her beautiful dress was designed by Ali Rahimi, who has even designed for celebrities like Queen Latifa, Carol Channing, to name a few.
