Jane Lynch to marry her girlfriend in May
January 27th, 2010 - 2:00 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, Jan 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The ‘Glee’ actress Jane Lynch is all set to marry her girlfriend Dr. Lara Embry, in May this year. They had met last year for the first time at the National Center for Lesbian Rights event in May 2009. At that event Lara Embry was awarded the organization’s Justice Award. Lynch was also present at that event and they hit off soon.
Jane Lynch was nominated for the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ at the recent Golden Globes, but unfortunately, she lost to Chloe Sevigny of the ‘Big Love’. However her show ‘Glee’ was the winner of the Best Comedy series.
Last year in May, Dr Lara Embry won the Justice Award, which honors an individual “who has shown the courage and perseverance to fight for justice and sacrificed to make broad social change for the LGBT community.”
Embry was living in the Washington state with her partner, and both had 2 children together. Both the individuals gave birth to one child, and also adopted the non-biological child through a second-parent adoption. Later they shifted to Florida, where they called off their relationship. While calling it quits, they decided to share the custody of both of their children.
