Sep 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) 72 year old two time academy award winner Jane Fonda’s secrets of her evergreen beauty has finally been unveiled. The actress has finally admitted of undergoing plastic surgery recently. In an interview to Entertainment Tonight, Jane Fonda - also known to be a ‘fitness guru’ accepted the fact that she had recently undergone a plastic surgery to maintain her physical appearance.

The actress who had released several fitness DVDs in the 80’s claimed that she is currently writing a book on aging and that she cannot lie to the world saying that she didn’t undergo any makeover as such in the form of plastic surgery. Jane Fonda who rose to fame in the 1960’s with cult classics as “Barbarella” and “Cat Ballou” has always been known for her obsession towards fitness. She has even released several DVDs based on fitness programs and the likes. Her new revamped look owing to the surgery she had recently reflects how the actress is overtly concerned with her appearance. Whilst speaking to a leading media entity she revealed that she has always been obsessed with exercise. She also defended her surgery saying that she never wanted to develop bags under her eyes that would make her look tired. She also revealed that if she doesn’t stay active enough her body will stop functioning owing to her age.

The actress will be seen pairing up with Kristen Bell and Jamie Lee Curtis in “You Again”. She is also slated to release to new workout DVDs which will possibly hit the stands in November. Jane Fonda is also known of being a political activist since she voiced against the Vietnam war and most recently, the Iraq war.
