Feb 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All the fans of Jan Hooks were in for a treat on Thursday night as the much acclaimed actress appeared in the popular television series “30 Rock”. The latest segment of the comedy series managed to receive huge viewership as large number of fans tuned in to watch the much anticipated episode.

The well known Saturday Night Live cast member surely managed to fulfill the expectations of the viewers as she successfully edged the manipulative character of Verna. The veteran actress gave a stupendous performance as the mother of the character Jenna, played by Jane Krakowski. The 52 year old comedienne surely managed to win the hearts of the audiences while playing the role of the mother who lingers on with her daughter for her own financial gains. One of the major highlights of the entire episode were the scenes that the veteran actress shared with Alec Baldwin, that turned out to be immensely entertaining. At the same time, the episode also witnessed Frank joining Liz Lemon as a roommate and the two of them make a deal of helping each other overcome their bad habits.

Jan Hooks’ guest appearance in the show surely gave a huge impetus to the show, which many critics believe has not been up to the mark this season. However, as of now all the fans of the much-loved comedienne are hoping for Jan Hooks’ would return to the show, expecting that she would be seen in the upcoming episodes.

“30 Rock” is among the most popular shows of NBC, that began airing from October 2006 and since then the series has gained immense popularity.
