Jamie Foxx’s upcoming album not in trouble
May 1st, 2010 - 6:09 pm ICT by ANILondon, May 1 (ANI): A spokesperson for Jamie Foxx’s record label has rubbished speculations of a problem with the singer-actor’s delayed album.
Foxx, 42, had initially planned to release his fourth studio album “Body” in April but the record was pushed back until June.
The delay in the album’s launch sparked off rumours that bosses at Foxx’s J Records label weren’t happy with the material and had roped in Justin Timberlake’s production company to help rework the tracks.
However, a company rep has laughed off all such reports.
“Jamie started working on this album last November, and Justin was involved from the start. Jamie and Justin have completed three tracks. The album has been delayed to July 20, but everyone is happy with the material,” the Daily Express quoted the spokesperson, as telling the New York Post. (ANI)
