Jamie Foxx said “I so apologize to [Cyrus], and this is sincere,” about the things he had said about Miley Cyrus during a broadcast of his radio show last weekend.
He had publicly told Miley Cyrus to “make a sex tape” an “do some heroin” on his radio show The Foxxhole last weekend. He then made his public apology to the teen sensation on The Tonight SHow with Jay Leno.
Jamie Foxx explained, “am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far. have a radio show … We’re really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn’t mean it maliciously. You know I’m a comedian. You know my heart.” At the end he also said, “Miley, I apologize, so I’ll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand.” It is not clear whether he has personally apologised to Miley but the singer-actress has chosen not to make any comment about the issue.
Miley Cyrus had publicly promised to ruin Radiohead’s career because they refused to meet her at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards Jamie Foxx and his crew had made very harsh comments about the 16 year old star on his radio shot The Foxxhole. Jamie had told her “grow up, ….. get like Britney Spears, …… do like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing a lesbian and get some crack in your pipe ….. And catch chlamydia on a bicycle seat.”
