Washington, Jan 12 (ANI): Hollywood actor James McAvoy has rubbished reports that he has been approached to play the lead in Ian Fleming’s biopic.

Rumours were abuzz that the ‘Atonement’ star had been approached to portray Fleming in a new film at the end of last year (09).

However, McAvoy insists he has no plans to be a part of his film.

“I’m not attached to any Ian Fleming film. I have no idea how that rumour got started. Somebody put it on the internet or said it to a journalist,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

“It’s weird how people will just confirm stuff without actually asking me. It’s not that I think it’s a bad script. I’ve read it and I thought it was a really good script, but I just haven’t spoken to those producers and I haven’t attached myself to it,” he added. (ANI)
