James Marsden’s wife Lisa Linde files for divorce

Linde reportedly handed the divorce papers to the X-Men star recently. The two have been living separately for some time now and the announcement has long been expected. The rep of the two explained to reporters that the two agreed on the decision to end the marriage.
The rep said that, “This was a mutual decision. They are committed to raising their kids together and remain great friends.”
Reports say the 38-year-old Straw Dog actor was seen the next day the divorce papers were filed at a hot dog joint. He was reportedly with a group of friends as they sang and danced in front of the joint in New York.
Linde is a star of NBC’s hit series Days of Our Lives. She is reportedly asking the court to grant her joint custody of the two children that she has with Marsden. The pair has a son and a daughter together and Linde requests that the court should order Marsden to provide spousal support once the marriage is over.
The reports failed to state the reason behind the decision to end the 11-year-old Hollywood marriage.
