Los Angeles, July 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor James Franco has publicly announced that he has split from his longtime girlfriend Ahna O’Reilly. He refused to mention when the relationship ended and he also refused to divulge the reasons behind the split.

The only reason he gave was that at the moment he is giving priority to his educational commitments over his relationships. He has been a student at Yale University, New York University, Warren Wilson College in North Carolina, Brooklyn College and Columbia University.

He stated in an interview with Playboy that, “It’s over. That lasted about four or five years. We’d been living together in Los Angeles and then came to New York to go to school for two years. Then I signed up for more school at Yale. I think that was it for her.” However Ahna side of story about the split is yet to be known.

James Franco also recounted the incident when he lost his virginity. He said that, “In high school with my girlfriend. Her name was Jasmine. She kind of got over me, but we got back together at the beginning of junior year and dated for two years. She was my first real relationship.”
