James Franco Becomes A Part Of ‘The Rise Of The Apes’

James Franco May 24, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Actor James Franco, one of the rising stars of Hollywood, has reportedly agreed to be a part of Rupert Wyatt’s Planet Of The Apes origin tale, The Rise Of The Apes. Franco will be the central character of the motion picture. The tale will revolve around a scientist (James Franco), who encounters monkeys and apes in San Francisco after genetic experimentations have been conducted on them. The scientist discovers that the monkeys and apes are behaving in a manner that is increasingly reminiscent of human beings. The monkeys and apes intend to commence a revolution.

This film will not have actors in prosthetics. The makers of the film intend to generate apes that are completely created by the computers. This film has been labeled as one that is going to possess awesome visual and sound effects.

Pre-production of the film is on the move. The shoot is expected to commence in July. The creators of the film have envisaged the release of the film in June next year.

Meanwhile, James Franco has interesting movies lined up. There is the comical film, Your Highness, in which he will enact a character. There is also the film of Danny Boyle titled 127 hours. It is anchored in the story of a daring mountaineer, who is ultimately compelled to chop off his own arm with a blunt pen knife.
