James Cameron Plans For Avatar Sequel

Be it the visual effects of his projects or cast fixing, he always has grand plans up his sleeves. Just when the world is going gaga over the visual opulence and cinematic brilliance of his 3D magnum opus Avatar, he is planning for a sequel to the movie that has broken almost all box office records. It has been affirmed by the director himself. In fact he has revealed that the plan for a sequel to Avatar was in his mind when the first movie was in production stage. He also said that he kept some scenes from Avatar out for the second movie.

The director said in a recent interview that the CGI characters take a lot of time to be developed and they cost a whopping amount. Therefore he would not like to waste them after using for just one film. The story of the human race invading the alien moon of Pandora and destroying the habitat of innocent blue skinned creatures there has touched a chord with the viewers worldwide. The movie has won the heart of the viewers and critics alike. Some of the critics expected a sequel to be made and the declaration of the director has affirmed their assumption.

It is official that Australian actor Sam Worthington who played the male lead in Avatar will also act in the sequel. The news will make the fans of James Cameron ecstatic. The sequel may put another feather in the cap of Oscar winner director.
