James Cameron beat Sam Worthington with 10ft stick to get right expressions!
December 6th, 2009 - 3:17 pm ICT by ANILondon, December 06 (ANI): ‘Avatar’ director James Cameron caned actor Sam Worthington with a 10ft rubber stick to get the correct expressions in a battle scene from his new movie.
Worthington was not able to come up with the desired reaction, when he had to dodge a falling branch while fleeing an explosion.
“Jim went, ‘Hmmm, this ain’t working. So as I ran past he belted me with a stick and I went flying across the room,” the News of the World quoted him as saying.
Meanwhile, Cameron has said the film is the most difficult work he has ever done.
He said: “This film integrates my life’s achievements. It’s the most complicated stuff anyone’s ever done.” (ANI)
