James Cameron announces his next projects: Avatar 2 & 3
October 27th, 2010 - 11:31 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Oct 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Avatar 2 has been billed for released on December 2014 and renowned director, James Cameron is billed to make sure that is a success.
Cameron is not only directing Avatar 2, he has also been given the task of bringing Avatar 3 out a year later in 2015. Avatar is the biggest grossing movie in history. The movie made almost $3 billion when it was released last December.
Cameron will start working on the movie next year and he is already dreaming about it.
He said that, “In the second and third films, which will be self-contained stories that also fulfill a greater story arc, we will not back off the throttle of Avatar’s visual and emotional horsepower, and will continue to explore its themes and characters, which touched the hearts of audiences in all cultures around the world. I’m looking forward to returning to Pandora, a world where our imaginations can run wild”.
Avatar fans will sure be looking up to the new movie. It is hoped that it lived up to the standards that was set by its predecessor, the Avatar. And Avatar fans wouldn’t want anything less than that.
