James Blunt breaks highest gig world record
July 1st, 2010 - 7:03 pm ICT by ANILondon, July 01 (ANI): American singer James Blunt is thrilled after breaking the world record for performing the highest-ever live gig, surpassing the record set by band Jamiroquai.
The 36-year-old singer performed on a plane flying over Britain at 41,000 feet.
Blunt was delighted to get the title especially after knowing that his friend Jay Kay set the previous record when his band Jamiroquai performed at 35,000 feet in 2007, reports The Daily Star.
“I’m going to ring Jay Kay and have a good gloat. I can’t resist,” Blunt said. (ANI)
