Jake Pavelka Is Out Of “The Bachelorette”June 23rd, 2009 - 6:34 pm ICT by GD
The competition in “The Bachelorette” has been cut down drastically in the latest episode on Monday, June 22. Three men who were vying for the love of the woman in question, Jillian Harris, were eliminated. The men who were made to leave the show were commercial pilot Jake Pavelka, financial analyst Tanner P. and bartender Robby Descant. The remaining five on the show therefore are Michael, Jesse, Wes, Reid and Kiptyn. These five men along with Jillian left for a trip to Alberta at the end of the episode. Jake made a teary eyed exit.
The fifth season of “The Bachelorette” had premiered with 30 eligible bachelors this season on the 18th of May. Jake had been one of the first guys on the show to have won a solo date with Jillian, in the initial run of this season. The initial opinion that Jillian had of Jake was that he was too conservative for her liking. On their one-on-one date, Jake had revealed to Jillian that he would like her to meet his parents, if they get a chance to visit his home town ever. After the date was over that evening, Jake had even taken the initiative to go to Jillian the next day and tell her that he really liked her.
Jillian had even revealed to Chris Harrison that she did like Jake Pavelka. It was tough for her to decide though whether he was true or pretentious. He always seemed to say the right things at the right moment. Common experiences have taught us all that such perfection in people are not always spontaneous. This maybe the reason that Jake lost out on the his chance of winning Jillian over.
