Seattle, Feb 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The family of late Phil Harris got another shock on Thursday, just mere days after the sudden death of Phil Harris. The late captain Phil Harris’ son Jake was arrested at Seattle on the charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (DUI) along with a hit and run case. The son of the late Phil Harris, who was the captain of the famous fishing boat called Cornelia Marie in the Discovery show “Deadliest Catch”, is currently in the Seattle jail, according to reports.

According to Washington State Patrol Spokesman Dan McDonald, 24 years old Jake Harris was found driving recklessly in the Shoreline, Washington State by a local man, who called 911 and informed the police. The car was then traced down by the air borne troopers who then guided the highway troopers to track the car and stop it. Jake Harris was driving a BMW 3 Series which was registered to the name of his late father Phil Harris, according to Dan McDonald.

Dan McDonald added that Jake Harris was driving with a suspended license. It has also been reported that the trespasser failed to pass a sobriety test and denied to go through the needed toxicological test. Later on it was also revealed that he had hit a car in the evening in Washington State. Jake Harris, who is now at a King County jail in Seattle, has to pay $2000 to get the bail. Jake Harris’ family spokesperson has confirmed that he is in jail but said that he was not intoxicated and had not hit a car, as has been complained by the police.
