Jaime Pressly Files For Divorce After 16 Months Of Marriage

Jan 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jaime Pressly the pretty actress who acted in movie ‘My Name Is Earl’ is heading for splits-villa. The 33 year old actress who got married to entertainment lawyer Simran Singh only 16 months back has filed for divorce. She has reportedly filed the papers for Divorce in the Los Angeles Superior Court a few days back. In her appeal she has cited irreconcilable differences between herself and her spouse as the reason for the split. They did not have any kids though the actress has a son from an earlier relation. The boy is only three years old. The divorce papers indicate that she will not give any spousal support to her husband after separation.
The actress is also going to revert her surname to Pressly from Pressly-Singh. The divorce papers also state that she had split with her husband by the end of last year. This week the lady was spotted in Santa Monica. She was having lunch with her friends and she did not look happy at all. She had a morose face, a far cry from her usual glamorous self. Clearly the actress is going through a bad phase in her personal life. Just a few weeks back she got arrested for DUI and obtained release on a bail worth $15000. As if this is not enough the IRS has slapped a $637000 bill on her. The state of California has also slapped tax defaulter notice on her.
The actress got married in Malibu in September 2009. She won a number of nominations for her role in ‘My Name Is Earl’.
