Jailed George Michael being watched over by officers
October 3rd, 2010 - 4:16 pm ICT by ANILondon, Oct 3 (ANI): Incarcerated George Michael is being watched over by officers to make sure other inmates don’t hassle him.
The former Wham! Star is being escorted to pick up meals from the canteen and eat alone in his wing at Highpoint prison in Stradishall, Suffolk.
Michael, 47, is said to mix with other prisoners only when he plays an occasional game of pool.
“The officers are at his beck and call every time he wants to go out of his cell because they want to avoid other prisoners hassling him. It is like a holiday camp for him,” the Daily Star quoted a visitor at the prison as saying.
“It is a bit of a joke because nobody has been giving him a hard time. He is actually quite friendly and people like him,” the visitor added. (ANI)
