June 16, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The actors of “Sasural Genda Phool’ always seem to have a good time on the sets playing pranks or cracking jokes, keeping the atmosphere lively in general. But there can be some embarrassing moments, occurring, at times too.

That is what exactly happened with Jai on the sets recently. We asked him about the funniest thing that has happened to him on the sets and this is what he said, “There are a lot of funny things that keep happening while we shoot but there was this one instance which embarrassed me totally. I laugh every time I think of it. In a shot, I was supposed to sleep while my mom who gives me a head massage. I just had to say a line then. The scene started with the characters beginning to speak to each other and I actually went off to sleep! Shruti, who plays my mom in the show, kept telling me, “Jai it’s your line! Jai it’s your line!” But I dozed on. I was really tired that day and could not help but go to sleep.”

Well we must say that the ups and downs in the family with Suhana trying to adjust seems to be quite entertaining. And after speaking to Jai, we now know that they have a good laugh off the screen too!
