Jaganmohini- Not for Diwali?
October 10th, 2009 - 4:55 am ICT by Sampurn Wire
After many tribulations, producers of “Jaganmohini’ had planned to release the film simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu for Diwali. Unfortunately, there are no takers for the Telugu version, due to heavy flood in Andhra Pradesh.
If what we heard from the sources is believed to be true, then distributors of Andhra Pradesh haven’t shown keen interests as most of the theatres in the state have been shut down due to heavy flood resulting in the death of 150.
Since, makers of Jaganmohini had strongly believed that the Telugu version will do better than Tamil; they have now decided to release the film simultaneously in both languages.
The film features Namitha, Raja and Nila in lead roles while Vadivelu is expected to amuse us with his comedy tracks. Huge amount of fund has been spent on churning out special effects utilizing the latest technologies.
