June 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jaden Smith, the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith in a recent interview speaking about his first kiss said to a reputed media source that his father, Will Smith has set kissing limits for him. Jaden Smith played the main role in the remake of the 1984 classic “The Karate Kid” released on June 11, 2010 directed by Harald Zwart. The star kid is also a rapper and a dancer.

Jaden Smith said that his father Will Smith gave him kissing advice and set boundaries for his kissing scenes. Will Smith told his son not to kiss with his mouth open as he is “definitely” too young for it. Jaden Smith however described his onscreen kissing as interesting and a little bit “weird” with the faces so close and staying in the similar posture till the shot was right. This made the 11 year old boy a little awkward but he added that “I’m good at kissing” so that was not so challenging for him as it could have been if he had not had any previous experience. Jaden Smith also said about his new release “The Karate Kid” that he trained for three months with Master Wu from Jackie Chan’s stunt team and accepts that Jackie Chan and Will Smith are his biggest “influences”.

Jaden Smith was all in praises for Jackie Chan and said that the latter taught him new things like how to stretch and do martial art forms correctly. Jaden Smith also said that Jackie Chan would always tell him to focus on what he was doing to improve his skills. Jaden Smith is also known for his roles in “The Pursuit of Happiness” and “The Day Earth Stood Still”.
