London, Mar 6 (ANI): Brit celebrity Jade Goodys church christening with her two boys has been put on hold because she is too weak to go through with it.

Goody, 27, whose last dying wish is to be baptised in church with Bobby, five, and Freddie, four, is in hospital heavily sedated after an emergency bowel operation to ease her agony.

She is far too ill, the Sun quoted a pal of the Big Brother star as saying.

Her spokesman Max Clifford confirmed that it was very difficult for her to even open her eyes.

If people go and see her its literally a case of her opening her eyes, saying, Hi, how are you? and going back to sleep again, he said.

Its a result of the medication shes on. So, of course, in those circumstances the christening cant go ahead, he added.

Clifford revealed that there was still a chance that the ceremony could take place in the chapel of Londons Royal Marsden cancer hospital.

Jade really wants to be well enough to go home and be christened, he said.

If she starts to feel better the christening can be organised at very short notice. Were hoping for the best, he added.

A church near Goodys Essex home had been booked for the christening set to feature in the same celebrity mag that forked out for exclusive rights to her wedding two weeks ago when she tied the knot with freed lag Jack Tweed, 21.

The christening was not just a cynical attempt to make some money for her boys, a close friend said.

Jade genuinely wants to be baptised before she dies. She is still hopeful this can be done. But time is running out for her, the friend added. (ANI)
